Kipsu recently welcomed Ben Stavig to our Customer Partnership Team. Prior to joining Kipsu, Ben came from a small startup, Zipnosis, where he helped in developing their market. We're excited to watch him apply his market development expertise here at Kipsu. This is what Ben had to say when we flagged down him to chat about his experience at Kipsu so far.
What drew you to Kipsu
in contrast to other companies?
The biggest thing that drew me to Kipsu was the emphasis on core values and culture. Throughout the interview process, I constantly heard about how Kipsu trusts their employees and empowers them to make decisions and experiment with new ideas. During my first week, it was obvious how that translated to the pride each employee takes in not only what they do, but the company as a whole. The culture built here is something unique, and I am really excited to be a part of it.
What were some things you noticed about the
Kipsu Customer Partnership Team during your first week?
I noticed the sense of ownership everyone takes in their work and the mentality that team wins are more important than individual accomplishments. Everyone on the team has been extremely supportive of one another and always willing to go out of their way to help.
What challenges are you looking
forward to tackling in your work at Kipsu?
In addition to my day to day responsibilities, I am looking forward to helping Kipsu grow and overcome the challenges of entering new markets and industries.
What is your favorite Kipsu core value?
“Think Customer First.” I think one of the coolest experiences I had during my first week was sitting in on a couple of the ‘Customer Highlight’ calls. Hearing current customers rave about not only the Kipsu platform but the support they receive from the team was extremely great to hear and reaffirmed everything I had been told.
Do you prefer donuts or bagels and why?
Bagels… cream cheese isn’t quite as good on donuts.
