As part of a quarterly volunteer program, Kipsu team members worked last Friday to restore the gardens Eliot Park in downtown Minneapolis as part of Minneapolis Parks and Recreation’s regular park maintenance and upkeep. With shovels and pitchforks in hand, Kipsuvians uprooted oversized bushes and pulled out unwanted plants around the Eliot Park sign and in the flower beds behind the park’s community building. The team also re-introduced new plants and bushes into the parks flowers beds, providing a new, fresh appearance for the park.
